"Moreover, you scorned our people, and compared the Albanese to sheep, and according to your custom think of us with insults. Nor have you shown yourself to have any knowledge of my race. Our elders were Epirotes, where this Pirro came from, whose force could scarcely support the Romans. This Pirro, who Taranto and many other places of Italy held back with armies. I do not have to speak for the Epiroti. They are very much stronger men than your Tarantini, a species of wet men who are born only to fish. If you want to say that Albania is part of Macedonia I would concede that a lot more of our ancestors were nobles who went as far as India under Alexander the Great and defeated all those peoples with incredible difficulty. From those men come these who you called sheep. But the nature of things is not changed. Why do your men run away in the faces of sheep?"
Letter from Skanderbeg to the Prince of Taranto ▬ Skanderbeg, October 31 1460

Have Roman Jupiter ever had a solar character?
Iove the vulgar term for Jupiter, was the main divinity, among Gods within the Roman Pantheon.
The name Jupiter is a corrupted form of the real name Diu- piter, with Diu being the divinity and piter being pater, god-father. This how was seen by the Romans, this naturalistic divinity, which have been associated with the light, the bright sky and the day. It’s this last word that anticipates semantically with the word DIU. In fact, almost in all European languages, there is a similarity between analogs for the day, dia, dgiorno, dita, dan, den, diea, deina etc.
Noticeable all these words have in common the sound D, which clearly represents an ideophone, which in our conscience is being attached to the concept of the day and light. But the light, is always associated with the natural sources : the Sun and the Moon. For that reason, the ancient worship has given to the house of the divinity a dual character, which they named separately as DIA & DIONE.
This DIONE was a Goddess associated with the moon, and her name is explained DII+ ONE, exactly the same with SEL + ENE, sole(sun) + ne(night), in a beautiful synthetism of two meanings: the sun of the night.
Dia or DII, was always associated with Zeus, who was called Zëno otherwise, but the phonetics, suggest us the sound Z being just an inflection of the D- sound, although in Albanian language, is the ideosound of the non- visual energy like zë(sound) and zje(boil) as oppossed to the visual ones zjarr(fire). In Romanian the sound D is replaced by Z for the word day, which means that the ancient Dia and Zeno, are just inflections of each other.
Therefore DII is the SUN which latinized become Solis. In the Greek-Roman culture, which are basically the same thing, we have two more main figures, who represent the Sun, Helios and Apollo, but DII by no means, is the word which alone warrants that all these divinities centred around the concept of the sun, is not a not a recent syncretism. DII is the visual source of energy/light, the source of life, worshiped throughout the Roman Empire and every other ancient civilization before HE was changed to a non-visual mystical divinity. But the name itself Dii, was transmitted in the word DIO, who represents now the God.

LINGUISTICS
God is an English word now, but there is no doubt that this is just a distinct form of a common religious language, and has absolutely nothing to do with a PIE language, posed forward our eyes as an ETHNIC PRIMORDIAL LANGUAGE. The very truth is that this word in English is acquired from Germanic, not because of common European origin, but simply after a sound shift t—>d which happens naturally among these two analog sounds, one voiceless and the other voiced. The sound shift, from one language to another European language, follows some natural rules which the empiric theory of proto IE roots, can not explain, because different sounds in different languages, yield different outcome. For example lets compare
God(English)—— Got(German)——Zot(Albanian)
God and Got, respectively English and Germanic, we explained above, differ from Albanian by the sound G-Z. But if you follow the rules of comparative linguistics, these sounds in the PIE roots, were yield by different proto-sounds, beating this way the very logics of the entire PIE theory, under this very idea the theory has been constructed.
The truth is that G and Z of these three languages, are the reductive sounds embodied in modern languages acquired by the fluidity some sounds demonstrate, because of different language mechanics, inside different languages. As in the duality: Dia-Zeu, we have a sound shift G— DG( Giorno)—- D——-DZ——Z which yields Got(German) and Zot(Albanian).
Saying this, we are not denying that most of the IE words demonstrate a Semantic affinity. For example

DIIPATER(latin) ——— PERENDI(alb)

Which mean respectively in English
God-father————- parent- god( in Albanian from i parë- ancestor)
This example show that all Europeans, are just a human network of an ancient religious culture, which was just non-animistic one, creating dialects of the same language based in semantics. For example, a common word for an ancestor is:

I parë(Alb)———- pere(French)——— parent(English)——- oi paros(Greco-Romaic)——predak(Croatian)

This pan-European linguistic connection is not acquired by the sound shifts described and insured as scientific by the PIE theory, but simply by semantics. I parë in Albanian means first, and from this meaning derive others: ancestor, parent, before, pre( as a preposition).
Even the English before is a compound word:
Before= be(to be) + fore( phore~ phare~ pare).
That’s how was before, and how it is now, all sons of the same God.
