Festivali Folklorik i Mesdheut

Eshte celur per te pestin vit Festivali Foklorik Mesdhetar, me pjesemarrjen e 14 grupeve folklorike shqiptare e nderkombetare.
Qellimi i ketij festivali eshte promovimi i resurseve turistike te Vlores, argetimit te qytetareve te saj dhe turisteve te shumte qe mbushin Vloren ne kete periudhe, por edhe per promovimin e vlerave kulturore e folklorike, te trashegimise kulturore te grupeve folklorike pjesemarrese ne kete Festival.

Sipas organizatoreve mesazhi qe perçon Festivali, eshte trekendeshi i miqesise, paqes dhe dashurise midis popujve. Nje anije me vela qe sherben si ure e komunikimit dhe e bashkepunimit midis popujve te Mesdheut eshte edhe simboli i ketij festivali.

Nje nga qellimet e rendesishme te realizimit te ketij festivali me te tilla permasa ne qytetin bregdetar eshte edhe ideja e hedhur nga disa intelektuale te ketij qyteti qe Vlora duke u lagur nga dy dete qe perbejne Mesdheun te quhet qytet mesdhetar dhe jo vetem ballkanik.

Festivali do te zhvillohet per pese dite dhe pikerisht nga data 1 deri ne 5 Gusht 2009. Ne te marrin pjese 14 grupe folklorike nga Bosnja, Kroacia,Mali i Zi, Maqedonia, Turqia, Bullgaria dhe Greqia.
