"Moreover, you scorned our people, and compared the Albanese to sheep, and according to your custom think of us with insults. Nor have you shown yourself to have any knowledge of my race. Our elders were Epirotes, where this Pirro came from, whose force could scarcely support the Romans. This Pirro, who Taranto and many other places of Italy held back with armies. I do not have to speak for the Epiroti. They are very much stronger men than your Tarantini, a species of wet men who are born only to fish. If you want to say that Albania is part of Macedonia I would concede that a lot more of our ancestors were nobles who went as far as India under Alexander the Great and defeated all those peoples with incredible difficulty. From those men come these who you called sheep. But the nature of things is not changed. Why do your men run away in the faces of sheep?"
Letter from Skanderbeg to the Prince of Taranto ▬ Skanderbeg, October 31 1460

Krahasoheni simbolin me siper, te kultures Mikenase, me ate qe eshte zbuluar vetem 15 km larg Tiranes. Ato jane saktesisht i njejti simbol, dhe i perkasin DIELLIT:

Image

Por kesaj rradhe ato jane shume te lashte 10000-12000 vite me pare, shume perpara Mikenasve.

putting in the right way the double-eagle which we find today as the double-headed eagle on the Albanian flag. That was the symbol of the Pelasgians. Lycaion son of Pelasgus built a temple dedicated to Zeus, in Arcadia where the Mount Lycaion is located:

Albanians the real Pelasgians descendents never forgot about their beloved God, their ancient symbols and their meanings.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Zeus was there worshipped as god of weather and ruler of thunder-storms, so frequent on the Albanian hills, and as presiding over moisture, the source according to the Greeks of life and growth. With him was associated Dione, who in Epirus quite takes the place of Hera, though neither there nor anywhere else does she seem to receive independent worship or to have definite functions.

"They are Nietzsche's over-men, these primitive Albanians — something between kings and tigers."
Skeptri, rrufeja, shqiponja dhe Zeusi, te gjitha nje simbol i lashte i permbledhur ne 1 fjale SHQIP. A eshte ky emri qe e therritem qe nga lashtesia, per te quajtur vetveten, kur raca jone e madhe filloi te shperbehej, me formimin e kombeve te reja? A mos ishte ky emer nje simbol bashkimi, per te gjithe ata qe dikur flisnin nje gjuhe dhe besonin te njejtin hy? Do e le ne gjykimin tuaj:

"The Cambridge Ancient History" , Volume 3, f.272
Autor: John Boardman,N. G. L. Hammond

This terracotta figurine, shows Aphrodite semi-draped riding on a goose (or possibly a swan). Dated to the 3rd century BCE, it is from a tomb at Salamis, and was probably made in Cyprus.
