Po risjell këtu edhe një citim të prurë më parë që flet për shqiptarësinë jo vetëm të Epirit por edhe të Atikës:
Shqiptarët e Atikës janë jo më pak besnikërisht të përkushtuar ndaj muzikës
dhe vallëzimit se sa bashkatdhetarët e tyre të Epirit.
