Gjuha Pan_Amerikan diskutohet ne qarqet shkencore ende ne ditet e sotme,nese ajo mund te perfaqesoje nje alternative serioze reth origjines se perbashket te gjuheve.
Joseph Greenberg,ne librin e tij Gjuha e Amerikave,propozoi qe te gjitha gjuhet e Amerikave i perkasin te njetes familje.
Pamvaresisht nga shume kritika qe i jane bere prej kundershtareve te tij,ku nje prej tyre,Lyle Campbell, pa u botuar ende libri,kerkoi te ndalohej botimi I tij,
Greenberg,nder postulatet e tij,na jep edhe njesine “vajza”.Me gjere,mendimi qe iai na jep eshte kjo njesi nuk permban vetem nje mendim,ne disa gjuhe te kesaj familje ajo eshte “bir,bije,femij” dhe “e vogel,e paket”.Ai analizoi 17 forma:
1)Para Aztekan:”tana”=bir,femije
2.Cumash:”taniw”=femije,I vogel,pak(Çik)
3.Yano:”tini”=me qene i(e) e paket,I vogel,ndersa “tinisi”=femij,bir,bij
4.Algoquica:”tune”=bije
5.Blackfoot:”tana”=bije.
6.Nootka:”tana”=femije
Na intereson te dijme tendencen fonetike te “ti”, “tu” dhe “ta”.Tendenca e tyre,ne bashkepunim dhe me tingujt e tjere qe e shoqerojne, eshte: “tsi”,”tsu” dhe “tsa” ne njeren faze,ne “çi”,”çu”, dhe “ça” ne nje faze tjeter.Ka dhe nje zhvillim tjeter te mundshem,por nuk e po jap ketu.

Ne kete drewjtim nuk eshte hetuar asnjehere ne menyre serioze,sepse ne qoftese merret e e mireqene metoda e krahasueshmerise te Indeo-europianisteve ,e cila bazohet vetem ne zhvillimin gjuhesore te 6000 viteve te fundit,studimi i imundesise se lidhjes se gjuhes Pan_amerikane me nje prej gjuheve me te hershme se familja Indeo-Europiane,sic eshte gjuha shqipe, perben nje herezi.
