"Moreover, you scorned our people, and compared the Albanese to sheep, and according to your custom think of us with insults. Nor have you shown yourself to have any knowledge of my race. Our elders were Epirotes, where this Pirro came from, whose force could scarcely support the Romans. This Pirro, who Taranto and many other places of Italy held back with armies. I do not have to speak for the Epiroti. They are very much stronger men than your Tarantini, a species of wet men who are born only to fish. If you want to say that Albania is part of Macedonia I would concede that a lot more of our ancestors were nobles who went as far as India under Alexander the Great and defeated all those peoples with incredible difficulty. From those men come these who you called sheep. But the nature of things is not changed. Why do your men run away in the faces of sheep?"
Letter from Skanderbeg to the Prince of Taranto ▬ Skanderbeg, October 31 1460

Nje sinonim tjeter, i kesaj eshte dhe θέρος

θέρος (theros) (genitive θέρεος or θέρους); n, third declension;

1. heat
2. summer
3. harvest, crop

δυσ- , insepar. opp. εὖ, ;A.un-, mis-, with notion of hard, bad, unlucky,

me perjashtim te nje rasti te vecuar, e perdorur nga "Appian, The Civil Wars "BC 1.7 :

δυσ-ανδρία "want of men", shqip dush-njerez(ἀνήρ = njer/i) .

A dush [don,do] ..?

δυσανδρία , dush [don,do] -njerez.

disapprove, disability; disagree, disaffirm; discomfort, disbar; disbelief; discontent; dishearten; dislike; disown.

eshte nje prefiks ose parafjale me funksion privativ, negativues, ose reversiv.

Kjo nuk eshte e vertete, kjo eshte teresisht abuzive.

Universal geography, or, a description of all the parts of the ..., Volume 6
By Conrad Malte-Brun

- Scyp or Albanian language appears to be formed of one third of ancient Greek especially the Eolic dialect.

-The Albanian is by means of its AEolic character connected with the Macedonian.

-It is observable that some Albanian terms are Hellenic compounds although there are no single words corresponding with them

-is enough to show that the most ancient Greek words have been preserved in the Albanian language..

-Loos ''the Macedonian name for the month of August'' corresponds with the Loonar of the Albanians

-Thus in the Albanian language deet signifies the sea hence probably Tethys the goddess of the ocean ;

-dee the earth hence Deo and Demeter surnames of Ceres;

-Hera '' the air'' Eera '' Juno''

-dieli ''the sun'' Delios ''a surname of Apollo the god of the sun'' ;

-vranie ''a cloud'' uranos ''the heavens''

- vera ''fine weather'' from ear or er ''the spring ''

-maina and gour ''a rock or hill'' in Thessaly and the Peloponnesus alb.mal 'mountain' , alb.gur ''rock''.

-tragein ''to eat'' ,tragen AEolic dialect , alb. darkem

The digamma appears in many words ,

-vraam ''to kill or injure'' from raiein

-vel ''oil''

-groust ''the fist'' with gronthos ;

-kambe ''the foot'' with kampe , flexion

-ngrane ''to nourish'' with graien

-flacha ''a flame'' with phlox

-krupa ''salt'' with kruos ''crystal''

-stepei ''a house'' with stephos ''a roof or covering''

-i ourte ''prudent'' with iotes ''prudence'' Homer

-i ri ''young'' with ear or er ''the spring''

-koitou'' I remember'' with kotheoo ''I think''

-chata ''poverty'' with chatein ''to want''

-skepetim ''thunder'' with skepto ''I fall with force''

-phare ''a division'' or tribe with pharas ''the pars of the Latins''

-prind ''a father or chief '' with prln ,before, primus

-frike ''fear'' with phrix ''trembling ''

-bastakes, '' Beotian term for a farm'' with, bastine ''a rural domain in Albanian ''

- Panoni the Albanian term for anarchy is formed from the preposition pa which is not different from the Greek apo and nomos law it may therefore be considered the same, as the old or obsolete Greek term aponomia

-The Greek word hippos a horse was probably derived from the Albanian verb hippune to mount or leap

-the names of mountains and people in primitive Greece were perhaps of Albanian origin

.. some etymologists observe an analogy in the AEolic the Albanian and ancient Latin ..

..the primitives of a pure and indigenous language like the Albanian must have been at one time common to the Thracian Illyrian Phrygian and Lydian .
- The Albanian according to this hypothesis might become as useful in a historical point of view as the language of Orpheus or Deucalion and might enable us to explain the meaning attached to the names of many ancient people and places .

-skipitar -skip which denotes the language hence Skipitar he who speaks Skip and Skiperi the country in which Skip is spoken.
-may be thought more probable that Skipitar means an armed man or one provided with a sword or skiphos.

Numri i fjaleve te renditura ketu, mund te jete afro 600 ,qe eshte i konsiderueshem sidomos po te marrim parsysh se helenishtja e lashte kishte nje numer te madh para, prapa shtesash , ky numer zmadhohet shume .Si shembull eshte folja bluaj, vloj te dyja jane e njejta gje,te dyja permbajne ate qe i karakterizon, levizjen nga luaj,qe leviz ,nuk rri ne vend b`luaj = v`loj qe me duket e drejte kurse PAlb.

βλύω ; βλύσις bubbling up ''vlon'',
ἀνά-βλυσις gushing up,
ἀπο-βλύζω spirt out,
ἀει-βλύω ἐπιρρέω flow upon the surface, float
ἐπι-βλύω flow over, ἐπι ''mbi,mbë,mpë [epërm]''
ἐπι-βλύζω pour forth,
ἐπι-βλυσμός gushing forth
ἐπι-βλύξ abundantly gush out,
ἐπι-βλύω flow over
ἐκ-βλύζω ek 'hjek,heq,hiq'' away
παρα-βλύζω spirt out, disgorge ,παρα ''para''
προσ-βλύζω lap against
συμ-βλύω spurt out together
συνεκ-βλύζω spirt out together
ὑπέρ-βλυσις a gushing over, eruption,ὑπέρ ''hypur''
ὑπερ-βλύζω bubble
ὑπερ-εκ-βλύζω bubble
ὑπέρ-βλυσις a gushing over, eruption,
θερμό-βλυστος hot-bubbling

pra nga folja bluaj jane krijuar 27 fjale te reja, e nqs bejme te njejten gje per 500 fjale imagjinoni sa eshte numri i pergjithshem.

Nuk e di nese eshte sjelle me pare kjo glose e Hezikut, e cila sipas tij, eswhte perdorur nder athamane:
Cabej e gjen nje forme te te ngjashme te perdorur tek shkrimtaret e vjeter te veriut si ''mangu i sutësë'' (i vogli i drenushes). Pra me kete kemi edhe nje fjale me shume shqipe ne dialektet e vjetra te Epirit juglindor.

Sipas Stefan Bizantit, emri i saj i hershem ishte ''Bounomos'' (Βούνομος).

Image
Pella of Macedonia was formerly called Bounomos or Bounomeia . . .”

Image

Shumica e linguisteve pranojne, gjithashtu, se ky toponim i perket shtreses se vjeter ilire ne Maqedoni, por sqarimi etimologjik i saj nuk ka qene bindes (Hoffman e shpjegon ate me ,,mal'').
Pella in the same way is a later name for Bounomos, which seems an Illyrian or Illyrian-Epirote word. The proximity of the Illyrian frontier to Pella makes this conjecture plausible.

Macedonia, Thrace and Illyria:
their relations to Greece from the earliest times down to the time of Philip, son of Amyntas, Stanley Casson, 1971, pg. 50

βούνομος: grazed by cattle

βουνόμος:of oxen at pasture
