Rezultatet zyrtare të censusit që u ba në muejin prill në Mal të Zi tregojnë,ndër të tjera,që 44,98% të banorëve janë deklarue si Malazez,28,73% si Serb,8,65% si Bosnjiak,4,91% si Shqiptarë,3,31% si Musliman,1,1% si Rom,0,7% si Kroat.
Ndërsa 4,87% nuk kanë dëshirue me tregue se cilës kombësi i përkasin.
Numëri i plotë i banorëve asht 625.266.
Në krahasim me regjistrimet e 1991 dhe 2003,shifet që përqindja e Shqiptarëve zvogëlohet .
1991:6,57%
2003:5,03%
2011:4,91%
Megjithëse janë deklarue vetëm 4,91% me kombësi shqiptare,në anën tjetër 5,27% të banorëve të Malit të zi kanë deklarue që folin shqip.
Disa të dhana në disa komuna:
Ulqin:19.921 banorë prej të cilëve 14.076 janë Shqiptarë ose 70,66%.
Podgoricë:185.937 banorë prej të cilëve 9.538 janë Shqiptarë ose 5,13%
Tivar:42.048 banorë prej të cilëve 2.515 janë Shqiptarë ose 5,98%
Rozhajë:22.964 banorë prej të cilëve 1.158 janë Shqiptarë ose 5,04%
