According to western historians over 5 million Balkan muslims were exterminated in the Balkans and alot more were forced to flee to Turkey soon after the weakening and the fall of the Ottoman Empire. Massacres committed on them by the newly founded balkan nations during and after the so called ''wars of liberation'' were on grand scales and the western world kept quiet about it and did not give a shit.
Now how many of these muslims were Albanians only god knows, but since Albanians where the largest of all Balkan muslim groups at the time it could give you a good hint on the possible percentage out of the total number documented.

A me duket qe mungojne edhe disa pjese te territoreve shqiptare ne ate liber , si Kosova dhe serbia jugore , apo jam gabim ?
Du te them qe , nese mungojne , atehere numri i banoreve duhet te jete i dyfishuar ?
